Erica and a number of other people got the idea to start up an environmental Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that they named Mariana Islands Nature Alliance (MINA). It is hard work starting up a new organization and it took this group of people quite awhile to decide on goals, objectives, strategic plans and all the good stuff needed to make the group work. There was, and hopefully still is, lots of energy and enthusiasm to ensure that this group continues to grow and provide an alternative means of promoting a healthy environment for the Mariana Islands.
Charlie still enjoying her ballet classes.
In May Charlie went a whole week without nursing at which time we threw a big party at PIC for her and all of her friends. The party was just in recognition of a big transition for Charlie from being a child to becoming a young lady.
More fun as the human paint roller.
Cole's 4th birthday party. Here is Charlie taking her swing at the pinata.. don't stand too close.
Learning letters. We have a few books for Charlie where she can learn to read herself and Erica wrote the word "Jane" for Charlie to trace over. It is just fascinating to see how reading and writing skills develop. Language is different, she just listens and repeats.. and her language skills are very good.
